Library - The CILIP Carnegie Award
What is the CILIP Carnegie Award? The CILIP Carnegie Medal is
awarded by children's librarians for an outstanding book for children and
young people. Awarded annually by CILIP: the Chartered Institute of
Library and Information Professionals.
During the Spring and Summer
terms Mrs Baron runs a lively and stimulating Carnegie Award Shadowing
Scheme: pupils interested in participating may obtain details in the
library.
Below you will find a list of the nominations short list
for the current and previous years which, based on their popularity among
their teen and young adult patrons, school and public librarians have
found to be "the best of the best".
