Child Admission Policy

Children 8 years and over who are competent simmers can swim during public sessions without an adult present.*

Children under 8 years of age and/or those who are not competent swimmers must be accompanied by a responsible adult (at arms length) in the pool at all times.**

* The responsible adult must be at least 18 years of age and can only be responsible for a maximum of 2 children.

** a competent swimmer is one who can comfortably swim a full length of the pool, non-stop, in a recognised stroke.
