You must be careful when using the Internet.

When using the Internet to assist with knowledge of religions it is important that you remember the following -

Ø      it is not possible to know who composed the site you are using - it may be a young boy or girl who wishes to talk about their belief, but who has some of the facts wrong

Ø      it may be a very respectable university teacher, or school teacher, who has tried to make the site as accurate as possible

Ø      it may also be someone who is a religious extremist, someone who distorts the beliefs of their religion to promote very extreme views, perhaps supporting violence and hatred.

It is sensible to visit several sites to check the accuracy of any information you have discovered.
