S1 and S2 Homework
Homework plays an
important part in the development of your knowledge and practical
skills, and will take a variety of forms depending on the particular
unit of work you are following.
Homework might
include practising of your performing skills, revising concepts, and
completing written exercises.
In S1 and S2,
homework will mostly take the form of short written exercises in the
Music Workbook. These exercises will most often involve musical
literacy.

practising and playing music from a variety of styles, using
standard musical notation. |
Regular
practice is encouraged on at least one instrument. Time will be
spent in class to develop performing skills.
It is
recommended that some time is spent practising through the week
outwith class, although it is appreciated that not all pupils
will have access to an instrument at home. |
