The three types of work to be assessed internally in connection with Practical Abilities are:

• Project work (an SQA provided task);

• Non-programming coursework (work from two GPP Applications - WP, SS, GR, Web, DB, etc..);

• Programming coursework (work from two Visual Basic 6 programs).

Candidates will require to keep a Folder of Work to be used in connection with the assessment of Practical Abilities. A total of FOUR coursework tasks which best represent the standard of work normally attained by the candidate will be used as evidence of performance in coursework.
