Brief Description of Course

There are three units covered in the course. 

These are Cell Biology, Genetics and Adaption and Control and Regulation.

Type of Homework

A variety of homework tasks are set including writing and preparing extended response questions (essays), completing problem-solving questions, answering questions from the Higher Biology textbook and doing past paper problems.

Every week.

Every week, the pupil’s notes and relevant part of the textbook should be used for personal study and revision.

The Scholar programme (on-line) is available to all Higher Biology students for independent study and revision.
